Who thinks A-Rod will hit 800HR Career?

I sure as hell do. He's only 32 and he's almost at 500!

Just as long as he stays relatively injury free, he will do it.

Pencil me in for A-Rod hitting 1,000+ in his career. Most of the calculations are using an average of 35 HRs in a season, when he's been hitting closer to 50 in each of the previous seasons.

I'm not saying that he's gonna hit 1,200 HRs or anything, but he'll probably end his career with around 1,010 or so.

if he stays healthy and hits 35+ HRS each year then definetaly he will have 800 he almost has 500 hundred now and he has way more HRS then bonds did at this age so yes i say that A-ROD will hit 800 he already has 20 sumthin this year(think its 27)And the season isnt even half way over

He definitely should reach at least 800. A-Rod has such a natural compact stroke at the plate that he will have a long career. Even when he is not useful as a fielder anymore, he will be able to be a very good DH if he should stay in the American League.

Definitely. It depends how far Bonds will go, but I seriously doubt that he'll get to 800, and if he doesn't, then ARod will. You can tell because he's met a lot of landmarks quicker than Bonds. Like, he got to 300 HRs quicker than anyone has ever! And personally, although I'm not a particular ARod fan, I hope he does it, because I hate Bonds.

There is no doubt in my mind that he will get there as long as he stays healthy. Yes, he had a rough time last year, but this year he seems to be a lot more consistent. Can't wait to see number 800!

I think A-Rod will hit up to 700 and then get shot by Barry Bonds because Barry worked so hard on getting to 74-somthing

  • 1 decade ago

    I definitely do.

He's on pace to hit over 800..so if he stays healthy he will hit 800 and many more.
