    so many question, well I can try few of them 4 you

    7) (21424-20600)/20600*100=4%

    8) let the length of first side be x

    x+(2x+2)+3x=38

    x=6

    9) let the first piece be x

    sec. piece=2x

    third piece=2x

    fourth piece=2(2x)

    x+2x+2x+4x=1

    x=1/9

    10) 3/100*650=$19.5

    1 Amount of increase=$21.424-$20.600

    =$824

    Therefore percentage of increase

    =824*100/20,600

    =4%

    8) let the length of the first side of the triangle be x

    So,the second side is 2x+2 and the third side is 3x

    therefore,

    x+2x+2+3x=38

    or,6x+2=38

    or,6x=38-2=36

    or,x=36/6=6

    Therefore the length of th e first side is 6 units

    9) let the first piece be 1/x

    hence the second and third pieces are 2/x each and the fourth piece is4/x

    Therefore,

    1/x+2/x+2/x+4/x=1

    or,1+2+2+4=x [multiplying all by x]

    or,x=9

    therefore,the first piee was 1/9 th part of the cake

    10) Principal=$650

    rate=3%=0.03

    time=1 year

    Therefore Interest=650*0.03*1

    =$19.50

    8. i don't know

    9. Answer: 1/9 of the cake

    twice means 2

    Second piece:2

    Third piece: 2

    Fourth piece: 4

    add them up=8+1(the first piece)=9

    10. I=PRT(Interest= Principle x Rate x Time)

    multiply all the numbers you were given

    Answer= $19.50

    7. 21,424 / 20,600 = 1.04 = a 4% increase

    8. Let X equal the measurement of the first side.

    Therefore, 2X +2 equals the length of the second side.

    3X is the length of the third side.

    x + (2x+2) + 3x = 38

    6x=36

    x=6

    7. 20,600+20,600X(x being the percentage of the salary being added)=21,424

    8. side one is X, side two is 2 + 2X, side three is 3X, add all the sides up and set the sum equal to 38

    9. Same as number eight; side one is x, side two is 2X, side three is 2X, side four is 4X, add all up and set equal to 1(because you have one cake). Your answer will be a fraction of the cake.

    10. 650 * .03= answer

    I hope this will help you begin (if you want the answers just ask)
