How would you feel if your girlfriend choose how you should dress and present yourself?

I'll ask my girlfriend's opinion sometimes on my look if we're going out together, but ultimately the decision is mine. She does not tell me how to dress, how to present myself, or anything for that matter. She is always welcome to ask, offer her opinion, etc. but she never tells me what to do.

That depends, charming... I dress myself well, but I always appreciate an honest opinion. But, YEAH, I would surrender if she gave me lots and lots of sex and romantic stuff in exchange for dressing me up proper and so well that it makes her heart go pitter-pat.

Dear Charming, It looks like your girl may have a "control issue." Usually when women do this its because they are "enmeshed" with you, which is a bad thing....Its like being co-dependent. If I told my husband how to dress and present himself he would laugh in my face, and you know why? It's because he has a strong self-esteem. How's your self-esteem? Man, that would be awesome. One less thing for me to have to worry about. Then that time that would have been wasted could be spent doing something that wasn't a total waste of time.
