Many times financial terms are not released, but you can expect someone who is drafted in the fifth round to get a signing bonus of about $100,000 to $200,000. His contract will be a minor league contract and probably will be a $1000.00 to $1500.00 per month starting out at the lower levels. As he advances, the contract will increase slightly, but not dramatically. Unless you get a big signing bonus, chances are you will not make your big money until you make the majors.
