First of all your age is a contributing factor.
Age 11-13 for me was crazy because of periods just like yours.
I would bleed one day and then no blood the next.
I would bleed one month and then not bleed for 3.
My mom took me to the doctor and they said it was normal and that I was "irregular"-meaning I didnt have my period for a whole week, the same week, every month.
The doctors said that by the time I was about 17-18ish, it should begin to be normal.
The clots are just dead tissue. Nothing to be worried about. Your body is just getting rid of the nasty skin to build new, better skin.
My periods leveled out when I started birth control.
I've been on Yasmin bc for about 2 yrs now and its made my period the same week every month and I bleed a lot less than i used to as well.
I recommend talking to your doctor about bc.

It all depends on your age, how long ago you got your period, stress, weight loss or gain and lots of other factors. You should see a doctor only he can answer you question, since he knows your medical history.

Could be soooooo many things, but you must call a doctor to determine exactly what it is. It could be something so simple but you don't want to take a chance of doing permant damage to your body.

A doctor would be the best person to rule out any issues. But depending on your age it could be nothing.
please call your doc.
