Perm & Weave?

Im African American, I have really long hair that is thick and wavy. I dont relax my hair often (maybe like every 3-4 months),and when I do I use Mizani. I recently got a wash and set and what was supposed to be a trim. They cut Soooooo Much! My hair is sitting on top of my shoulders which is short to me. Im thinking of getting a weave until it grows back.My question is, is it safe to perm and weave in the same day or is that too much? Should I wait a week or two to put the weave in. It's sew-in by the way

I have worn weave, sew-in and glue for at least the past ten years off and on, as well as my hairstylist wears weave and has done weaves for the past 20 years. She generally will relax my hair initially before my sew-in and then every other new weave, which is usually every 4 months (you shouldn't wear a sew-in longer than 2 months) there is no harm in going right into the sew -in the same day, my hair has grown tremendously but be careful to deep condition and use reconstructors. Also keep in mind only you know how fragile your specific hair grade is, but as long as the braids are not too tight, which they shouldn't be anyway, you should be ok with the right stylist !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! want a professional's opinion contact Ernestine at Elite Hair and Nails 216-561-8100, she is the bomb with weaves and healthy hair.

Definitely don't relax your hair and sew in tracks in the same day. You need to give your hair a week or so to rest from the chemical damage, and then put in the extensions.

Sorry about your hair being cut so short - that must've been awful! But maybe that much was damaged...always make sure you get your hair trimmed a within a few weeks of your last relaxer because the chemical damages the hair so much.

Wait about 3 days. Use Human Hair 4 More Styling Options, because sometimes synthetic weave eats up your natural hair.

You should let your hair settle before having your stylist put in weaves. Just wait about 2-3 days.

yeah i think yu shuld wait a while becuz its bad to straighten yur hair and then braid it cuz it'll prolly break more.

My advice is to just enjoy the length yu have now. Im SURE it looks good and ppl will think yu did it on purpose esspeciallu when yu had it longer before. and up to yur shoulders isnt too short anywayz

if yu ask me thats a SEXXED summer style!!

Keep on with yur nice hair *

That should be no problem seeing that weave does no damage to your hair.

Well since it is a sew in you could probably do it in about a week.
