I am 32 why is it so hard to find a nice freind around my age that is willing to be net freinds???

I am of the same age :) It's a little hard to find people of our age because many are married and many are with children. Those who arent' married are either looking for mates or busy with careers.

I'd love to be net friends :)

True friendships cannot exist over the internet-- they exist in person.

People once they are in their late 20's and above are very busy with their personal lives and taking the time to always talk to a friend over IM a few times a week is really almost too much to ask. It's much better for them to meet with a friend over lunch or dinner. That's why.

You mean like you start corresponding with someone and after about 3 messages back and forth they drop off the face of the earth? That happens to me too. What do you consider around your age? I'm not quite 28...

It's not really that hard to find friends on here. I guess you just have to know where to look. Myself I like to use myspace.com as a way to keep in touch and to meet new people. I am usually not bugged by spelling I can decipher and understand things dont always get typed correctly but ....

You have to find someone that has similar interests and drop them a line.
