Try to touch her feet/paws every day until she gets used to the feeling. It's part of her learning socialization skills. Once she realizes that no one is trying to hurt her...she will relax and not have a problem. Just go slowly and praise her saying "What a good dog"....the word "what" in dog training is a word all pups love to hear....add "good dog" and they are doing summer salts. LOL
Have fun...with time & patience she will relax for you and her groomer.

As others have said, dogs don't usually like having their feet touched...and some are more sensitive about this then others. To dogs having their feet touched can be a dominant gesture as well, & a dominant dog may particularly resist this, epsecially if done by a stranger. As another member said, you need to get your pooch used to having it's feet touched. Start out by petting the dog, then work your way down to the legs....give praise & a treat if you wish. On day two do the same but go down a little further...& so on until you can touch the feet without the dog over reacting. DON'T praise or treat the dog even if you CAN touch the feet IF the dog is showing signs of being nervous or aggressive. Wait until the dog is calm & relaxed then praise and/or treat.

Their are a lot of dogs who do not like their feet being touched. I have worked with many dogs who have this problem (I major in dog grooming at my school). I believe the reason why some dogs don't like their feet being touched is because their paw pads are sensitive. But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Alot of dogs hate having their feet touched, i have 2 dobermans who will let me touch their feet, and my kids, but the last time we went to the vet, the vet had to check out one of my dobes feet, well, she got bitten, not bad, just enough to say 'i dont like that, dont touch my feet'. My springer spaniel really, really hates having her feet touched too, she will nip my kids if they try, she will let me, and she will latch on to my hubby, bad, if he tries.
