How many people have a significant other that corrects them in public?

Sometimes my husband does this and it really irks me. Like if I say a word differently than what he is used to(I am southern so some things come out different).

    Ah, so he is northern and is predisposed to poor taste, bad manners. I wouldn't go in public with a significant other that would embarrass us both by putting me down.
