Your abs.
I wouldn't recommend using weights while doing your ab exercises as this could lead to added bulk instead.
Try hitting different parts of abs each day. Day one do only exercises that target your upper abs, obliques the next day, lower abs the third day, and so on...
Of course, any exercise program will not succeed if you don't include a proper diet and a cardio program.
Good luck!

if you are training for hypertrophy no muscle can be trained daily at a high level of intensity. you need to alternate days of high and medium and low levels of intensity for optimum results if you want to training with weights every day.
here's an example:
Week 1
Mon: High
Squat: 3 x 10 @ 200 lbs
Wed: Low
Squat: 3 x 15-20 @ 100 lbs
Fri: Med
Squat: 3 x 6-8 @ 150 lbs
Week 2
Mon: High
Squat: 3 x 10 @ 210 lbs
Wed: Low
Squat: 3 x 15-20 @ 125 lbs
Fri: Med
Squat: 3 x 6-8 @ 165 lbs

calves and abs can be worked everyday. Core muscles like abs
are worked constantly, just as calves (walking) . Be careful of forearms, they tend to get really tight in all workouts b/c almost every upper body exercise involves forearms.

You are correct, Mr. P.
You can work the abs daily since they have a 24 hour recovery time.
The remainder of the body has a 48 hour recovery period.
