Nice hotel in the centre of Glasgow.?

The Glasgow Hilton is quite a good hotel, really nice bar, great restuarant, excellent facilities, secure underground parking, well located, friendly staff etc. The rooms are very very nice too, super views also.

Although the rooms aren't that expensive, parking, drinks at the bar etc are quite dear, about £8 for a large glass of Chardonney.

One bit of advice is to go to LastMinute.com and check out their 'Top Secret Hotels'. Basically, they offer a ridiculously low room rate for the top hotels and because the hotels don't want full paying customers to know they are doing this LastMinute don't tell you what the name of the hotel is until you actually book although they provide plenty of information on it and in most cases enough to work out who the hotel is. I have saved loads of money using this service.

Enjoy Glasgow, great city, I much prefer it to Edinburgh.
