2006 Ford Focus SES ZX5?
I'm thinking about purchasing one. It has leather and 6 disc changer with steering wheel mounted audio control. It has a little over 22,000 miles. Dealer is asking 12,200. Deal or no deal?
P.S. Please don't send me any Kelley Blue Book crap. That thing is about as reliable as a 3 legged mule on a mountain climb.

I think the ses ZX5 would have gone for 18k or so new. I have an 07 ZX3. The hatch back Focii are great drivers (mostly Mazda design) and 2007 is the last year that the well balanced hatch back will be built.. Fun to drive and a better car since the 2005 change to the Duratec (Mazda) engine. I am betting the dealer will bend a thousand or so if you are a serious buyer and say "I will buy it today if you sell it for xxx $$$.. Cash or good credit talks..

The price is reasonably fair, since the dealer needs to have a markup in order to make any money, but the other guy is right. Most dealers, especially with Focus, are willing to bend and work with you on price. Good luck.
