I don't think that there is anything wrong with you at all. I think that having big changes in your life having a baby, marriage stirs many thoughts. I remember having the same dreams weeks before my wedding day. It was really weird having those dreams.
I would suggest talking about it with a friend? Or maybe even some exercise like yoga, to clear your mind and relax your "inner self".

Of course nothing is wrong with you. At night your mind has a chance to calm and run through things that you need to think about , that you dont have time for during the day.
Everyone goes through sleepless times, and its especially common I think, in familys with babies. Having a baby is no easy task. Us men will never understand the changes you go through. And maybe thats why it can also be hard on a marriage.
And raising a child is NO EASY TASK. Its a big responsibility, so dont be so hard on yourself. Just the fact that you long to be awake and spend time with your daughter tells me you are a great mom.
I liked the yoga suggestion, and talking to someone. I would suggest reading books by Thich Nhat Hanh, on meditation, and mindfulness, and learning to be in the moment. Your energy will come back, I am sure (smile).

It could be sleep apnea or sleeping anxiety. I have to sleep with a machine cuz i stop breathing at night. So I was never really getting good sleep cuz i would wake myself up to breath. I would suggest a sleep center. As for the Ex dreaming it is just life, i find that i do it too. Just pops in there one night and i haven't even thought about the person in forever, i sucks at times but it happens.

you could try a sleeping pill for a few nights. i've also heard that a coffee around 3:pm will help you sleep better (I guess because it'll be wearing off when you want to be winding down). Just be careful and follow directions if you go the route of sleeping pills. As for cause, sounds like maybe unresolved issues and you'd do well to talk to a friend (or someone who knows you pretty well) about it, as they'd know you better than we do.
