McAfee Security Problems.?

My McAfee Security program blocks everything and I have to hit back several times to get it to open the page I want and sometimes it never lets me open the page. It says to add the page to an "Always Allow List", does anyone know how to add pages to the always allow list?

Update:

My McAfee Security blocks everything, and all of the sites I visit. It says something about an "Always Allow List" but the computer admidinstrator does not know where to find the list, or how to add sites to it. Can someone please help.

I believe that McAffee does not have a allow list built directly into their program. It has been awhile since I used it but if I remember correctly you just need to add the web site to your allowed list in Internet Explorer.

    1. Go to Tools on the Internet Explorer Bar

    2. Go to Internet Options

    3. Go to the Security Tab and click on the button that says Sites.

    4. Click add and it will automatically enter the address of the page you are currently on.

I hope this solves your problem. Good Luck!

The setting on McAfee firewall should be'Allow some' and should have a tick in the box. If after you visit a website and you get a message from McAfee saying it is blocked...go to firewall settings and put a tick in the box "Allow All".
