if you have message archiving enabled then you can rt click on the person name and go to archives or if the person wasnt on your list you can go to top of messenger click on contact then go to message archives it will then open your message archiving for all messages you have had ... if yo dont have them enabled you can also enable archiving her also but you must go to preferences and and set your archives to saved as many days as you want them saved i always save mine to 900 days

right click on who it is u sent it to then go down to message archive
