Does anyone knows how to configure Wake On LAN (WOL)?
I attempted this several times with several computers with no results. Basically I went to the BIOS and enabled the WOL feature (PowerOn/Wake On LAN, etc...) Some of them had settings for S1, S3, and S5.
I went to the network adapter advance settings and enabled the WOL on it.
Anything missing? What other things can be checked?
In some Gateway and HP computers the pc's were powered, but they could not be ping (no response) unless you actively were working on them. Strange?
Help and links will be most welcome.
