ICC's nod to free-hitting brings back the memory of Roman Amphitheatre....?

where innocent people were thrown to hungry lions & tigers. Don't you think ICC's decision makes the bowlers more vulnarable than before? Cricket should be a game of balance where bowlers should get the same advantages as well as the batsmen. ICC wants every team must score 450-500 runs an inning. ICC already makes the pitch dead, legside bowling is not allowed, now one no ball gives the batsman a chance to get not out (whether, bowled, caught, stamped, runout) in next ball!!!!Don't you think this is ridiculous? Commercialisation is killing the game ~ don't they understand?

My dear friend...you have asked a very timely

    question.

(i give my gratitude by giving you a star.)..

but sadly ,these days it,s all about Business.

cant you remember what happened in world cup 2007?

all the bowlers suffered cuz icc helped indirectly to Batsmen.

specially to Australian batsmen.they dont have rules against Batsmen.

they impose every single ridiculous rule to rule out Bowlers effots.

so, new bowlers like srisanth, Malinga, Gul, Nel, have to strive more .

yes ICC by this , Killing The Game of cricket.

My dear friend...you have asked a very valid question...Nowadays its all about commercialisation...its the moolah that the ICC sees at the end of the tunnel...

One-Day Cricket has always been a spectator's game (read Batsmen's game)....the more sixes & fours gets hit in a match..the more spectators would turn up at the matches...more TRP ratings...more advertisements...cricket getting more popular than ever...in short creating more avenues for making money...

Every other teenage boy would "want" to become a batsman rather than a bowler...thus killing the game of cricket in essence...

Hence cricket won't be a game of skills & mental toughness...it would become a cheap theatrical show meant for just entertainment...just like videogames....SHAME..SHAME...

And 20:20 Cricket would bring in even more riduculous rules..

Time to switch to other more engaging games like Soccer & Lawn tennis for instance...

    i totally agree man,

with icc medling this way,Cricket is no more a game of skills & mental toughness...it would become a cheap theatrical show meant for just entertainment...

    this makes bowlers suffer.

new bowlers perish by cheeky bats menlike Gilchrist too.
