Pacquiao VS Barrera II... Does it still has the hype? Now that it is finally set on Oct.6?
The rematch between Pacquiao, honored as 2006 Fighter of the Year by the Boxing Writers Association of America recently, and Barrera, a former three-division world champion, is set on Oct. 6 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
The bout was forged after Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions formalized their amicable settlement on Friday.
Golden Boy chief executive officer Richard Schaefer and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum agreed to settle their promotional differences through the mediation of Daniel Weinstein in Las Vegas.
After Barrera lost his crown to Marquez.. There's nothing to loose for Barrera come "Pacquiao-Barrera II". Don't you think that it is better to put up a rematch against the best fighters of their division "Pacquiao-MArquez II".
What do you think will be the outcome of the "Pacquiao-Barrera II". Would it be a sweet revenge for Barrera or a deep pit downfall just as that of Morales' previous loss to Pacquiao?

I dont care to see the fight. I have to much respect for Barrera as a fighter then to want to see him Ko`ed again.

Since watching Barrera's so-so shows in his last 3 fights, i think he is already finished. His fight with Marquez will be his last stand and there will be nothing left when he fights the Pacman. I dont know why he is still highly ranked in the P4P list, maybe out of respect.
