Are you asking about theater plays ("Broadway") or play= having fun? If it is the latter, please tell us how old you are so we can help you better.

Well, how long are you going to be staying in NYC? I'd say, definitely try to check out a Broadway show, go to Times Square, check out Rockefeller Center, walk through Central Park and visit the zoo, and definitely check out the American Museum of Natural History -- it's amazing! If you're into art, try to take a trip to the Met too, if you can fit it into your schedule. The trip to the top of the Empire State Building is, in my opinion, something you can skip. I did it once when I was about 14 and it wasn't anything thrilling. Don't waste your time. It's best viewed from the ground. Skip the Wall Street Insider Tour, too. Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty are both pretty amazing, so try to fit them into your schedule if you can. You'll probably need to set aside a whole day to visit these places, but it will be worth it. Other than that, just walk around and explore things on your own, and try to enjoy yourself! If you can, just take a few days to wander through SoHo and the East Village (St. Mark's Place). Don't try to pack too much into your schedule!
