awww he really luvs u. i think he wants 2 marry u but is afraid. he may be afraid of what his kids would think(thats what it sounds like) or he may be afraid of u saying no.
i say u talk 2 him. talking cant hurt nething.

nah that ring may not mean much except for you to hang around. why not an enagagment ring. has he asked you to marry him? you need to believe when they say there not gonna get married. many of them do not change their minds.

a "commitment" ring is like saying "you're mine" and it's something that just shows that you're taken... it doesn't necessarily mean that he wants to marry you *YET*
