Any examples of DNA mimicking proteins?
Hi. I've just been reading some papers on proteins that mimic DNA (i.e. elongation factors, etc.) and was wondering:
-are there any artificially synthesized proteins that mimic DNA?
-are there any DNA that mimic proteins (natural or synthetic)?

Actually, RNA can have many of the catalytic properties that are usually associated with proteins. DNA doesn't have the flexibility that RNA does.
