I agree. That's why I have a general policy of not voting on questions I've answered. Unfortunately, there's nothing stopping this. Maybe you should tell the people in charge of Yahoo Answers to fix this.

Yes If yahoo could fix this it will be great. The voter should be forbidden to vote for his own answer.

I guess it must be fair considering its available to everybody. But by the same token its not the done thing in my mind! Perhaps it will change in time.
