Do you agree with Wimbledon's policy of no play on the middle Sunday?

I dont agree with the policy at all. Because of this policy someone like Rafael Nadal in the bottom half of the draw has to play 5 matches in 6 days. That is really tough.

But King Federer the chosen one only has to play 3 matches. This is unfair. They have completely put the bottom half of the draw practically out of contention

Sunday is a day of rest. Life was like that one time in many places. You have to question why things and traditions are the way they are. There are things only being questioned now because of the way things are today. But many things were everyday things for a long time.

Sunday off was about resting day and religious reasons. It's really nothing to question because it is a tradition with Wimbledon, and that's what Wimbledon is about. Anyways, it does not really hurt the schedule because if the weather had been really bad and turned everything into a disaster, then that's when Wimbledon organizers will allow play on Sunday. It's happened a few times in history and I think the last one happened only years ago. Don't worry because those organizers at Wimbledon know their stuff anyways.

I agree with it. Giving the middle Sunday off to the players is part of the tradition of Wimbledon. The tradition is what makes Wimbledon so unique from any of the other Grand Slams. Wimbledon is one of the only tournaments left in the tennis world that embraces the traditions from the past and I think that is what everyone needs, whether you're a player or a spectator.

Personally I think that it is totally LAME. Wimbledon happens only once a year for 2 weeks, and what do they do? Not play on one of the days that it would be most watched. It hurts viewership of the tournament. No other tennis major does such a thing. The whole day of rest thing also doesn't wash considering that the men's final match is on a Sunday.

I was lounging around the house praying for some tennis on sunday.

It seems like the best day to have tennis. People are off work and relaxing more than likely. It seems like the best day to have the product out there

Britan is a very Christian country and in the bible it says to take Sunday off.

And since Wimbledon is very tradisional they take of Sunday

not when it's been raining and only a few matches were played...i think they should DO something about the rain. it's wimby they must have the budget-get bloody shelters. this is a disgrace.
