Can I use my computer to text message someone who has a prepaid cell phone?
I tried doing it on msn messenger but she claims shes not getting the text messages. Yahoo doesnt work.

Yahoo and MSN both use SMS which is text message format. And you now clarified she has text capabilities, she needs to call her pre paid carrier repair dept. Also when you are putting in her number on yahoo or msn are you including her area code. I have alot of customers who call in stating that their text isn't working and it's because they aren't including the area code of who ever they are trying to text, it doesn't matter if it's a local number, still need it, if you didn't know that already ;)

Go to a cell phone provider like, Cingular.com or T-mobile.com or Suncom.com ect. and look for something that says "Send a Text Message" I will search them and give u a link tomarrow
