Raiden Vs Johnny Cage - Who would win and why?

For you who say Raiden is a God, he's not. Raiden WAS a God, but in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, he gave up his status as an Elder God to help defend Earthrealm from Shang Tsung and Quan Chi after Liu Kang's death.

But I still have to give the match to Raiden. Even though he's no longer a God, he still retains some of his godly powers (hence the electricity). Unlike Cage, Raiden has the ability of teleportation and lightning speed. Cage, although a fine martial artist and a force to be reckoned with, would not be able to keep up with Raiden's true speed (that was never demonstrated in the games), and thusly, lose the fight.

I have two answers!

One, Raiden would win against Johnny Cage because Johnny a mortal human. Raiden is an immortal Thunder God with the abilities to possess electricity, he can teleport and fly...there is no way Cage could beat him...EVER! Plus, Raiden has a staff which is another huge advantage!

Two, if while playing the game, it depends on who is better at it while making the two battle it out. Personally, I could make either of them win...if I were to lose anyway it would be because I chose Johnny Cage, I am a da bomb with Raiden all the way!!!
