How can a gas station charge 26 cents more for the middle grade than the lowest?
I have been to several gas stations in the area where I live in Louisiana to find the lowest price for the gas my car runs best on...what i usually find is a 10-15 cent price difference from the lowest grade fuel to the fuel I use for my car most often cause it runs best on it. Suddenly i found a gas station charging 26 cents more for the middle grade than the lowest grade, how is that possible? Is this legal? and if not who do i contact about it if its not legal?
I understand supply and demand but how can they go from 3.00 to 3.26 cents for a higher grade what i was saying that it is normal to see the 10-15 cent increase at other gas stations but a whole quarter?

They can charge what the market will allow. If they don't sell any gas at that price they will lower it. Instead of trying to find someone to contact, just buy gas somewhere else.
