it is a system file located at

C:/Windows/System32 (if your MS windows is on drive C:)

it is either dameged or deleted.

if you are using Windows XP with SP2 (spervice pack) you can download and paste the file in the above mentioned folder. If not, try installing (reinstalling service pack 2 for your OS)

your missing file can be downloaded from http://depositfiles.com/files/1151720 (you'll have wait until the page loads)

Can you get your PC to start in Safe Mode? (Press the F8 key at boot and choose Safe Mode)

If you can, see if the Start button shows.

If it does, Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time

    Type in the following:

    regsvr32 browseui.dll

    and press enter

Reboot your computer after a message appears

If that fails can you post back which version of Windows you are using

or go to a different computer and download browseui.dll onto a disk. Use control-alt-delete to run task manager. Go to File, Run, Browse and navigate your way to the disk. Right click on browseui.dll and click copy. Navigate to the c:\windows\system32\ folder, right click and click paste. Reboot your computer
