Have any non-Indian people here been 'approached' by Hindu Deities?

I was 'approached' by Shiva Ardhanarishvara and Kali, and also Ganesha, after having a 'kundalini' experience. There was NO mistake about this; it was truly remarkable! I have talked to others who have had a similar experience as well; it seems to be some kind of "trend". I would like to hear MORE tales of the experience of others!

That would be ungodly spirits. Being a Christian, if one of them visited me, I would take authority over them.

But I have had heard my Lord & Savior, through the Holy Spirit. I have also heard Prophets of God, Presidents. I have heard my Father God. All through the Holy Spirit. I have heard Winged Cherabim (He says this is his name). And they always have a message or teach me something about God & what is God doing.

Last night I saw a vision of a cowboy man. I asked God about it. The Lord said the cowboy man was looking for me. He was a sorcerer. Then last night I had a dream that witches came into my house, intimidating me to write them a check and my husband said, "They just want to negotiate." & he takes out old coins & gives them a coin & they get excited. I said that he shouldn't be giving them these coins & picked them off the ground myself, since they were ours." I had told one of the witches intimidating me to write her a check, "I am glad you aren't going where I'm going, heaven.". Then I thought of that. I then told her, "I really don't want you to go to hell. I want you to go to heaven.". Then the group of witches left & I looked for my purse afraid they took it. But it was still there & nothing was taken. I was thinking of identity theft, etc...

Well I believe this dream has a message. But the cowboy man is a real sorcerer who communicates with ungodly spirits. But the Lord protects me from people like this. Some sorcerer wearing a cowboy hat who has heard about me from ungodly spirits.

If you know what a "kundalini experience" is then you apparently have familiarity with Hindu iconography such that these deities would show up as part of your experience. They are archetypes and energies within consciousness (Your consciousness). However, if you had an "inner fire" experience or a "descent of the Holy Spirit" or even a Voodoo experience, which are western parallels if not equivalents to the "kundalini experience," different types of entities might have appeared to you and you would interpret your experience in a different way. That being said, yes, I've had similar experiences but then I was a non-Indian Vedantist for about 25 years. I used to have dream visitations from Sri Ramakrishna and his disciples and one night I woke up to see a blue, 4-faced, 4-armed goddess. I don't think of it as a big deal, though--it's just what the mind can do given the "right" circumstances. I also spent about 6-8 years or so studying kundalini phenomonology and practices related to Tantric and yogic disciplines. I'm now studying western occultism. It's exactly the same except the gift wrapping is different.

My God--I just read the string on this (all the entries before mine). Crazy, stupid, clueless, and scary people out there.

Yup. Ganesha dropped in on me one day. I didn't find it remarkable at all. Nor did I find the urge to convert.

I was doing yoga at the time.

Up until that point I never understood why so many Christian teachers say Christians should not do yoga. To me it seemed harmless. Exercise with little difference from a treadmill or the StairMaster.

However after that experience I understood how it might cause someone to either loose their faith or feel the need to convert.

Yes, a similar experience happened to me. I was 5 or 6 when it occurred. Appeared right in front of me and scared the dickens out of me. I'm still frightened when i see a picture of it, or hear its name. I still don't eat eggs. That darn Easter Bunny.

God loves you man, and He's grieving that you are so lost, and wasting your time on fantasies when you should be pursuing Him
