mine molt once every one to two months. i think the key to them molting is to leave their shell in the tank after they molt because they will eat it to gain back the calcium for their new shell. i tried removing it once (to use as deco! =p) and my crab took a much longer time to molt. at the same time calcium fortified food specially for crabs should help. cheeros!

I am not sure how long but every few months to a full year should be the usual time for aquatic crabs to molt.
Good Luck
