Simple question what do you think are the most important cities in the world and the country you live in?
For the world my top would be in order
Washington D.C, New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, Than after that I really not sure: Maybe, Sao Paulo, Madrid, Frankfurt, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dubai, New Delhi?
For the United States my top 10
Washington D.C, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
So what are the worlds most "important" cities?

For me, the 10 most important cities are:
USA- New York (Center for market and world's strongest in economy)
Asia- Tokyo (Asia's biggest stock market), Hong Kong (Free Port), Singapore (Logistics), Shanghai (Trade), Cebu (Cheap labor and trade, good port facilities)
Europe- Frankfurt (German market- biggest in Europe), Zurich (Where 27% of the world's money is deposited)
Latin- Sao Paulo (Stongest City in terms of economical terms in the latin cities)
Eurasia- Moscow (So many oil and steel companies which is used for different industries)

Economically, probably the cities that have the major stock exchanges that are quoted on the news with regard to the rise and fall of stocks. So, you have the Dow Jones in NY, the FTSE in London, the DAX in Frankfurt, the HANG Seng in Seoul, the NIKKEI in Tokyo etc.
