Im starting a band, name problems?

My best advice is to make up a contract and have all members sign it. Decide how you're going to split any band money that is made from shows or selling items, decide on if someone leaves the band do they get paid for a portion of the songs, etc... It happens over and over where a person leaves the band and then there's all kinds of issues about money and who gets the copyrights to what... even if this band is just meant to be for fun, it's still a good idea to write up a contract... good luck and have fun! As far as names, I like o-k-tober.

I think I like veteran a little better, if you're kinda political, and I think I like oktober without the dashes.

If you want to go really political sounding with the name, try something like Prisoner of Conscience or Pressure Group -- both political terms you could play around with

would help to know.. Do you play Metal? punk? industrial? that would help ALOT.. Man I think both Oktober and Veteran sound great, either one would suit the music perfectly, but id lean more towards oktober.. It just sounds really punk.. Poo poo face isnt too bad either....

in 'o-k-tober' the dashes are stupid, nobody will remember them and it will be stupid.
