Horse power and torque are both important. Actually the more horsepoer you have the more torque you will have as well. The honda civic is a very easy car to drag. With a turbo kit and some nitrous. That for beginners, header, cold air intake, some roller rockers and a cam you can turn out some impressive numbers. happy dragging

They are both just as important, esspecially for the hondas. they love to spin the tires, so you dont want too much torque unless you got the $$ for suspension. are you doing 1/8 or 1/4 drag? as for the hondas, go with the civic hatch or the acura integra both are light and fast easy to make a 12.5 car with a good turbo kit and a steady foot

hondas are not good for drag racing..
only rear wheel drive cars are really fast.
it has to do with weight transfer..
in drag racing hp is more important than torque,
but the two go hand in hand

Horse power gets you down the track and tourque gets you off the line. Top speed go for horse power, acceleration go for tourque.
