Anyone own a Pontiac Sunfire?

My car's exhaust is just hanging there and I've noticed many Sunfire's with the same problem and the Chevy Cavalier. I have had this thing fixed twice but it keeps falling, who should I take my car to to have the thing fixed right?

Get yourself some bailing wire, a pair of pliers and a turnbuckle.

Find someplace above the pipe on the body that you can poke the wire through, wrap it around the pipe or muffler, then hook the wire to both sides of the turnbuckle - try to pull it as tight as you can, then twist the turnbuckle until it tightens it up to where the pipe won't bounce or rattle.

    Voila!

It may cost more, but you can take it to a local reputable custom exhaust shop. Look for a place that specializes in modifying older cars from single to true dual exhaust that is a good indicator. Also, ask them for references or pics of some of their custom work

Just have someone that knows what they are doing make new hanger brackets for the exhaust so it doesn't vibrate and come loose and hang.
