Is it possible to reheat a Bloomin Onion?
As usual, after a dinner at the Outback, we have leftover Bloomin Onion. I've tried to reheat it before, but it never gets crispy. It either burns, or is soggy, and sometimes, both. I've baked it, toasted it, broiled, nothing works. Does anyone have any positive experience with this?

Like you, I've tried to re-heat it countless ways. The one that worked best for me was to re-heat in a 425 degree pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes. Also, when you bring it home from Outback, take it out of the styrafoam container and wrap it in paper towel and place it on a plate. That helps to keep the moisture down (which makes it soggy when you re-heat). Enjoy!!

Sadly, the very nature of the batter used makes it attract moisture out of the air, and, once it binds with the fat and flour particles, nothing short of freeze drying is going to drive it off.
Even after freeze drying, I'm not sure what you'd get... Onion jerky with a crust?
Sorry!
Best wishes!

The best way to reheat something fried is by baking it, but if that doesn't work I would say it is a lost cause. Sorry.

I read in some health magazine that Outback's Aussie fries appetizer is the most fattening meal in America! So this does not surprise me.

I've reheated it in my broiler and it came out fine.

maybe you could try to re-fry it.. I bet it would be good.
Ive always just put it in t he microwave and suffered with a soggy one... I love their ranch though, so that helped with the taste.

Yes, you need to preheat your oven to about 400 degrees, then watch to see color be careful not to burn!
