Any tips before/post rhinoplasty?

When I got mine done my doc had me wash my face, specially my nose, with nuetragena facial bar (the orange one). I am going to be honest with you, it SUCKS!! Not the soap lol the surgery. I looked like I had the crap beat out of me for weeks, and you cant breath out of your nose for a long time (since they pack your nasal passages). And you will get LOTS of blood in your stomach during surgery, and trust me, it comes out in a not so wonderful way....(puke!) And its wierd because when they do remove the packs, your sence of smell is like a blood hounds for a few days. Its not as good as it might sound, you can smell things you NEVER smelled before and it can make you sick to your stomach lol. Even now, 11 years later I can smell things most other people cant. I dont want to scare you, I just want you to be prepaired. Its not as easy as some celebs make it out to be. Its a long hard road!

i haven't had one, yet i've got watched cosmetic surgical treatment B4 and After a ton. for the duration of a tip rhino, they might in basic terms do away with cartilage. i do no longer think of it would be even a million/4 as painful as having your nasal bone chipped away at w/ a chisel. i'm particular it nonetheless hurts. think of getting somewhat the coolest portion of your ear decrease off and sewn returned at the same time. Now think of having to respire and all of the mucous. :P
