With the rash of contaminated products coming from China, shouldn't we be sanctioning them here in the US?
To me, it seems almost like terrorism!

Absolutely, but unfortunately with prices so high for domestically produced goods, stores like Walmart depend on cheap Chinese goods to undercut the competition's prices.

Dear Mrs.. IT IS! and please do not think this is just from China. I have notified the US govt as far back in 2001 of a group of people deliberatly going around contanminating food products, flour, additives to foods and that these moles were being hired into food and consumption plants .. and other appliance plants and had serious plans to sell corrupted and damaged merchandise. I ve been treated like the terrorist ever since.. You are correct, these things are not accidents.. occassionally of course production has defects, but the govt hired terrorists instead of convicting them and thats a part of the problem.

What about the tires killing motorists? Chinese manufacturers should be certified and be required to meet the same high standards for quality and safety that our manufactures must meet. Unfortunately we can't do without the Chinese products since we don't make anything ourselves anymore.

I does appear that way doesn't it? I think it would be prudent of all consumers to check where any human consumables are being manufactured. China needs to correct this problem. They will lose a lot of money if they don't.

We need better safety standards across the board. One step..throw the Republicans out of office. AT the very least the air will be fresher!
