Will raw breadfruit (panapen) save from one day to next if cut open?

I just purchased breadfruit, known as panapen in puerto rico. Can I cut it open and cook some of it today and save the unused portion for tomorrow or the next day without spoiling, changing colors, etc?

You can keep the unused portion by sealing it in cling film immediately after cutting, and then keeping it in a cool place till the next day or so. Don't refrigerate it, or the fruit can begin to suffer 'frost' damage below 12°C: most domestic refrigerators run at between 3° and 5°C.

    Hope this helps.
