When I was a kid they were my team. When they moved out to L.A. the whole world just seemed to change. The Yanks and Giants were close but the Da Bums were the most beloved. "Wait till next year." They were loved as losers and as winners. They didn't often have the sucess that the Yanks and Giants had but they always had the hearts of the fans.

Well it's obvious that the yankees are the most beloved team out of any sports franchise in the history of new york. I would say the giants were more loved than the dodgers tho, cause they were new yorks first baseball team and they were a more successfull franchise while in new york compared to the dodgers.

The Bombers are the most revered team from NY but the moset beloved team may have been the Dodgers. There are many NY's that are still Dodger fans because of their past NY affliation. Go Figure.

yeah they were new yorks favorite team after the yankees began to cool down, i live in new york so my grandparents always talked about the dodgers, although the are definitely not the most beloved of all time, there will never be any competition for that title as long as the yankees are a team

I'm sure they may have been at one time. I really think the Yankees were and always will be.
