I'm Traveling To SanDiego, SanFransisco, SaltLakeCity, Utah, LasVegas & KansasCity. Can U Tell Me.....?

What shouldn't I miss at any of these places (even if I have an hour free) and can you tell me if it's a safe city for a woman to be wondering around alone.

I'm at each port for a day. It's my first trip out of Asia! I'm tagging along with ppl on business trip, but I could spare a while to hangout.

Serious answers please. I want to have a great time in the little time I have.

A very underpublicized site in Utah is the Kennecott Copper Mine. It was the first open pit mining operation and it is the largest open pit in the world. You can see the massive pit from outer space. It doesn't take too much time, and while it sounds a little boring, everyone I know who goes to see it is amazed at its size and everyone has a lot of fun. It is probably a 30-40 minute drive from downtown Salt Lake. If you are interested in amazing technologies and and awesome sites, don't miss the mine. If you want to shop, like everyone has suggested, go to the gateway mall or to Park City. But don't miss temple square. If you are in Salt Lake during the week of or on the 24th of July, they have a HUGE state holiday. If the timing is right be sure to look into the Pioneer Day Celebrations. Have fun.

In San Francisco - There are a lot of things that are noteworthy - Pier 39, cable cars, Lombard street, the Exploratorium, Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island - Union Square for shopping - SF is pretty safe alone - just be alert.

Just south of town is Half Moon Bay - GLORIUS beaches and views!

In Salt Lake, Temple Square (LDS temple and church headquarters) is an interesting tour - There's fantastic shopping just south of the temple -

However, if I had one day in Utah, I'd travel up to Park City - the best shopping anywhere, and you can view the Olympics sites. - I've toured all over Utah alone - it's safe.

Las Vegas is somewhere I'd take a friend along sightseeing, especially if you end up in a cab. Don't miss the Freemont Street Experience! It's stunning - but only available at night.

In Vegas, the lobby of the Bellagio is amazing - and go see whatever art exhibit they have going -

Never been to San Diego - but the typical sites include the Naval base, and the San Diego Zoo.

Kansas city - I've never visited - I hear it's hot and humid in the summer there - very sticky hot!

Have a great time! Good luck!

Salt Lake .... Yes, Temple Square is a "must see", no matter your religion. For downtown shopping The Gateway is great, and it is just a few blocks from Temple Square, walking distance! Park City is up in the mountains above SLC. It has great shopping, very good clubs and restaurants and is popular with the celebrities. Park City has a great night life. Both are very safe for a woman wandering alone, even in the evening hours.

Source(s): I live close to both SLC and Park City.

each and every of those places are cities you will no longer have the means to work out multi function day. San Diego, you're able to bypass to Coronado for the seashores and in the Downtown section you are able to examine out the greater historic homes. or you are able to bypass to l. a. Jolla somewhat of Coronado and in my view, i think of curiously somewhat greater beautiful. In San Francisco, bypass to Golden Gate Park and Bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower, Lombard highway (the truly curvy highway), and the Transamerica Pyramid. In Vegas, bypass to The Strip, Caesar's Palace, the Stratosphere Tower, and Treasure Island, fairly lots each and every of the inn/casinos. i haven't long gone to Salt Lake city, Kansas city, Germany, and Vienna. Sorry
