My mom was a beautician for 30 years So I spent alot of time in the shop with her. You are not supposed to wash you hair for 24 hours . Do not use a harsh shampoo either buy one for permed hair. Because perms do damage the hair I would suggest buying a good conditioning treatment and applying it to your hair. Good luck and never brush it while it is wet! always use a wide tooth comb!

When you get a perm the hairdresser or whoever does your hair has to wash it so it wont make that big a difference if you go a few days without washing. Wait AT LEAST A WEEK. For African American hair you can wait 2 weeks. For Caucasian hair wait at least a week.

i got a perm berfore, you have to wait 24 hours till you can wash your hair

You have to wait atleast 2 days to ensure that the solution takes to your hair. If you wash it too early, you will lose the curl.
