97 chevy blazer?
Does anyone know anything about how to get the hood latch to pop open the hood of the blazer and also there is a kick like the transmission when you come to a stop and then go?

If the hood latch won't pop, have someone pull the latch back and forth while you jerk up and down on the left front corner of the hood (driver's side). (happens all the time w/ Blazers). The kick is a UV joint in the rear needs to be replaced. GOOD LUCK!

Pull the latch until it pops and just bump the hood a little with yer fist until it pops open, then put a little oil on yer latching mechanism. The kick could be as simple as a brake sticking, or a u-joint in the drive-shaft.

if the hood cable is broke, look up under , by the radiator and take a long screwdriver and reach up and pop the hood from underneith. and about the kick, did you check the u-joints.

sounds like a motor mount. have someone push the hood down as you pull the handle
