Has anyone booked a cruise through cruise.com or cheapcruises.com?

I want to know if either of these sites are reputable and if so how are they to deal with. Any problems? Can you get insurance in case you can't go? Anything to watch out for?

I use the cruise webisites to search prices and availability. Having done my research, I then go to my cruise travel agent to book a cruise. Ive found better success and service with my cruise travel agent who often beat the fare by as much as $50 to $100 per person, or if not the fare, found an upgraded cabin and better location on the ship compared to the same deal I searched online.

I personally have not. You should do some homework and see if you are really better off using this website versus making reservations directly with the Cruise line or through a travel agent of you choice.

They say they can get you great deals but I've found the real important service they should provide is not necessarily monetary savings. I'd check with a travel agen after you've done some homework to see if a travel agent is better than web reservations.

    Good Luck.
