Why is my PSP screen doesn't go to the menu?
first, i was try to downgrade the firmware 1.5 to play homebrew, but i went go to photo option, there is a red screen to try to get 1.5 firmware but it not respend, they stay black screen, is it called brick. how can i get the psp working to get back to the menu, so can a little happy. the one with the best and most information will get 10 points.

You might have to take the game out then turn it on and look at your options and then one of them might say go to screen or something like that, press that one and it'll go to the screen in the beginning.

downgrading your firmware isnt the best thing to do as these issues will happen. put in the latest game out for the psp that you have into the slot. turn on ur psp then update to the latest firmware. but if the psp isnt turning on or if ur getting that red or black screen then try leaving that on until your battery dies and then turn it on after charging or restart the psp

in order to stop people from downgrading their psp, sony installed this new security. so if you try to downgrade your psp they block you from updating it, and wont allow it to boot up anything.
