If you think he;s a sellout then you have to think all pros are sellouts not just skateboarding ones either, look at how many do comercials and all that stuff, they don't do it to get their name out their they do it for the money, this is their job, they skateboard and they get paid for it, spocors are who pay them. He's not a sellout, he's not asking money for his autograph, he's not going to the half pipe and only doing a couple few tricks and calling it a day. He works his a** off just like most skateboarders do. Tony Hawk is one of th ebest skateboarders around, he never thought he'd be able to make a living skatebaorder, nobody did, but becase of him and many other pros it's gotten big. You can't throw a rock down the street without hitting a skatebaorder now, peope board because they're friends do, and their friends do and somewhere down the line someone saw a trick or a video and said that looks like fun i wanna try it, if it wasn't for pros nobody would have seen these things. I could care less who sponcors someone i'm not going to go to mcdonalds just because tony hawk is sponcored by them...i'm going there for the damn big mac. He's got a great additude towards skateboarding, he does it for fun and gets paid, he;s an awesome guy if you even have the chance to meet him you'd understand. He's not even my favorite skateboarder but i'd stick up for him anyday.
