okay my laptop ...the key board is screwed up i dont know how to fix it...?
see when i click shift and the number 2 i want to the @ part but it gives me this (") right here instead. and there are other buttons that just dont go...my key board is just screwed up.
help.

there is a key on ur keyboard that says "num lk" or "num lock" press it. that should stop everything

(1) You could unscrew the screws from the bottom, open it and clean it flimsy pad with alcohol.
(2)You can throw it against the wall and get a new one. Maybe a friend is giving one away or you could buy one real cheap depending on what kind of quality your looking for. (e.g. eBay, etc.)
(3)Seek professional help

Check in the manual about the shifting between numbers and symbols.

That's easy you will find that your keyboard is set to UK Layout if you set the keyboard to say USA layout all your problems will be solved
