Feeling baby's feet way far over on my right side?

I can tell those are her feet kicking at my side, way over by the seam of my shirt, about half-way between my ribs and hips.

I'll be at 35 weeks tomorrow, and her feet have been there for the last 3-4 weeks...it seems to me a bit of an odd place.

Has anyone else experienced this? What position was your baby in? I've got this sneaking suspicion that she might be sidways, but I won't know for sure until I see the doc on monday.

I'm not particularly frightened at the possiblity of her being in a funny position, just curious what insights you all might have.

Thanks

my baby gets in that position often as well....she is either head down or sideways with her feet way over to the right....it feels very strange when they stretch out, doesn't it??? at 35 weeks the baby can still move around so don't worry about them not being in the right position for labor...my doctor told me that at 38 weeks he will be keeping an eye on her to see if she continues to be on her side....

I'm 37 weeks and my baby girl does that from time to time. I've actually been feeling her little feet over there for a while now. It tickles the hell outta me! LOL. Don't worry about it. I KNOW my little girl has dropped and her head is down low. So, its probably just a strange position that your baby is in.

I felt my son's feet in my side the last 10 weeks or so but they said he was head down. Your gyn should be able to tell you if he is head down by feeling. Are you going to have any ultrasounds from now until birth? Your baby may still move further down too ... it's still early yet.

I didn't have that. One week I went to the doctor and he said the baby was still breech, then the next week, the night before I went again, I felt a kick very low, then I thought to myself. He is already in position and the next day he was. The doctor said his head is down ready for birth. Get that checked up, I never heard of that so i dunno.

In my experience babies can engage very late on... like half way through labour, for me. One of my sons didn't engage until half an hour before he was born. The other one was so eager to get out that he was engaged for the last four weeks, lol.

It happens...you still have 5 weeks for her to turn...I had feet up under my rob cage...my son turned early and stayed that way...and boy did those feet hurt. He was 24" long when he was born, so it makes sense why it hurt so much.

my son is in that exact postion as well.

My doctor said that as long as he turns head down before i go into labor it's fine. if not, there is a possibility of having to have a C-Section.
