Cd Or Video problem?
For some reason when I go to install a program, a little box icon appears, the software on the CD won't install and the only thing I am able to do is close up what I would consider the set up box window. Any ideas of how I can narrow it down to what it could be? or how I should go about fixing it?

Sounds like a conflict somewhere with your windows. If it was a video problem, then either nothing should come up or your video should stop working (all or nothing, right?).
If it was a cd problem, then it should never have started up at all (can't read, or u should have gotten a blue screen of error).
Thus the problem seems to be your windows. Hmmm, is this for any new programs you have tried to install recently, or only for 1 or 2 specific ones? If for all, you might need to have your windows checked (could be virus, could be something else). If only for specific 1 or 2, find another copy or source for those and try installing it from there.
