How do i find out what my computers "fingerprint" ?

Is the fingerprint like my ip adress or something? Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

Itried both my own ip adrees (192.168.x.x) and i tried my external ip adress(138.210.238.87). Im using WinHex and im supposed to replace my fingerprint wioth certain numbers. But i get a pop up that says "The search and replace strings have different lengths. Replacing in RAm is impossible. Never mind i figured it out i was looking for my hardware fingerprint which was 2D4A-0DED

    Your IP is one fingerprint -- although that can change depending on what network you're connected to.

    Another "fingerprint" is the MAC address of your network card.
