What is happening? Does this mean we were meant to be together?

Question

My ex and i never lost contact. However we're both single again. He's in a different country and so am I. We had great time together and also terrible time...that's what made our relationship last. We would have never spilt up if i didnt leave the country. Now we are single again...he asked me to come and spend two week of my summer holiday with him. However i cant at the moment. So i've decided to go back home to see him during the Christmas holiday. But i'm scared about it for some reason! I love him still and he loves me. I find myself wondering why we keep getting back in contact with each other and why we cant get over each other. He's a professional football player and i'm at college...yet we cant seem to move on with our lives. Does this mean that we were meant to be together? Or does it mean that we just like each others company? Please i need your help...got two more days before i decided whether to book my ticket or not. Thanks for your advise in advance.

I think yes you need to book u'r ticket coz unless u meet with each other, u can't know what's the feelings of u'rs for each other.Meeting through internet or via phone doesn't seems to expand u'r relationship.For that u both have to meet each other and spend some time together knowing each other and u should grasp this opportunity as early as possible.So reply him that u are meeting him on this summer holidays, don't wait till Christmas.

it doesnt neccessarily mean u two r meant to be together. sometimes people break up then get together a few times before they have a clean "forever" break.. i personally think thats a waste of time. exes should just remain in the past.

May be its a great friendship for each other,worth its wight in gold.I have a female as one of my best friend for more then 20 years.and its really great.If you would like it to be more ,then ask, that's what friends are for.
