I keep seeing so many thumbs down?
Why so many thumbs downs people? Are you not happy with their answer or do you think it will make your own look better?

If I disagree with the answer, thumbs down. If the answer is just plain stupid and/or unintelligible, thumbs down. If I agree with an answer, thumbs up. If no one used the thumbs down/thumbs up, then it'd be a useless feature, so why not take advantage of it?

Many people seem to think that giving "thumbs down" take away a point from the answerer, so they do it to harass them that way. It does not, though. So it really does nothing. But they will continue to do it, because they can.
